October to May is the best season for general sightseeing, trekking, cave exploration, and outdoor activities with pleasant temperatures (18°C to 28°C). The monsoon season from June to September is magical for rain lovers and roaring waterfalls, though certain treks like Chembra Peak and river bamboo rafting at Kuruva Island may be restricted for safety.
How far is Wayanad from Kozhikode airport, Bengaluru, and Mysuru?
Wayanad is approximately 85 km (2.5 to 3 hours drive) from Kozhikode / Calicut International Airport (CCJ), 130 km (3.5 hours) from Mysuru Junction via the Bandipur/Muthanga forest route, and 280 km (6 to 7 hours) from Bengaluru. We provide direct private cab pickups from all these locations.
How many days are enough to see Wayanad properly?

How are taxi rates calculated in Wayanad?
